Football season has arrived! Even though it’s still 80 degrees here in Virginia Beach, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some of your favorite football foods. Just make sure they are healthy! Here’s a recipe I found to be as good if not better than another football favorite – chili. You can make it as mild or as spicy as you want and it only takes 30 minutes to prep and cook!

Smoked Salmon Dill Eggs Benedict

One of my most favorite breakfasts is eggs benedict. This recipe replaces the english muffin with a slice of tomato and the ham with some smoked salmon. It’s light and fresh and a great alternative to the less healthy version. It is pretty simple to make too!

Spaghetti Squash

Until last night, I have never tried a spaghetti squash. Instead of pasta, I typically julienne zucchini. I must say, I enjoyed it! It takes a little prep time, but it’s worth it to not have that heavy feeling after you eat a giant bowl of pasta.
